Application of DJTT Overlay...
Ummm, crap.

I seem to have kinda...dented my unit.

And cracked the paint.

  • Has anyone tried to apply the overlay to a damaged unit? Interested to know if you were able to apply without the overlay not meeting the edges
  • Has anyone tried to peel off the overlay when the unit has been unblemished? Wondering if the paint came off
  • Has anyone tried to peel off the overlay when the unit has not been in the best condition? I'm wondering how strong the adhesive is and if it would take a chunk of the paint off

Especially sucks seeing as it was a replacement for a bung unit and I've only had it for a couple of days *sighs*

Camera is absent at the moment, but I'll see to getting a shot of the damage up by the end of the week. Looking at the 'fix a stiff jog wheels' PDF I've not done it near any of the PCBs which is good.

Any thoughts would be great.
