Oxygen 8 @ Traktor Pro Posted on: 01.12.2009 by Asia Garbrandt hey gaisdigged thru the whole community , found one thing out: could be possible with bome Anybody knows posts, tips how to combine vestax & oxygen? my target is to use to have control with oxygen over the effectdeck of C/D ( that means to use it like a 2nd vestax "light version" ) or is it impossible? because traktor got only 2 FX slots? hmmm gotta take a look on the hawtin tutorial vids again thanks feedfeed | |

| Estela Follansbee 05.12.2009 | Trying to read between the lines, I'm assuming you want to use both a Vestax VCI-100 and an M-Audio Oxygen 8 to control Traktor Pro. The answer is yes, it is possible to use both controls at the same time. The latest version of TPro has 4 FX slots, so you could potentially control FX 1 and 2 with the VCI-100 and FX 3 and 4 with the Oxygen 8. You just need to map the controls inside of Traktor. Should be plenty of posts around the community , NI community , www.traktorbible.com, to get you up to speed on MIDI mapping inside of Traktor. Or you can try to ask nicely and see if someone will create a mapping for you. As the TPro update also allows you to choose which MIDI mappings are directed to a particular controller, there is no need to use Bomes for the type of things you're wanting to do. |
