Take a nice shiny new SL MK2 and Mod it... maybe?
Take a nice shiny new SL MK2 and Mod it... maybe? Posted on: 07.12.2009 by Amina Eman Hey there, Completely new to this community but have been visiting DJTT for some time now Thought i'd get involved as wanting to mod my novation 25sl mk2 but sure exactly how to!... Basically i'm not a big fan of the drum pads on the controller but am a HUGE fan of the arcade buttons! (Belchman is a good friend of mine and i did a gig with him the other day and finally got a chance to bash those things! ) I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the pads with arcades without putting in another HID or anything... ie just doing a bit of rewiring and fitting of the buttons? Surely the pad on/off signal is just the same as the arcade on/off signal but i wouldn't need to do anything in terms of velocity sensitivity... Anyway, i know its probs a stupid question but keen to mod my gear if possible! Many thanks to anyone who can help! Seddon | |
