Preplanning a midi controller project
Preplanning a midi controller project Posted on: 15.12.2009 by Domenic Hux Hey Guys,Thanks for previous replies to my previous topics about me using a HaleMicro UMC32 as the base for my interface. I am trying to create a shopping list right now. I need suggestions got pots and nice really cool knobs that fit the pots. 10K pots are ideal. I also need suggestions for slider pots (faders) and on top of this a Dpad, a button with a play/pause graphic on it and square buttons that ima draw headphones on for my moniter buttons and select for a select button. I dont expect you guys to look for me but if u have a suggestion or have come across any of this items send me a link. Also can you guys send me some links to good stores that I can search for these items. All input as usual is greatly appreciated. You guys are the best Once I get all my materials Im going to start a thread on this little DIY project of mine. Just to show even the young guns can do it. Love Respect Peace. | |

Latia Pfleider 16.12.2009 | sup djgq, here is some parts I have used. these are solder lug pots, they have a hole for the wire to attach, if you go with a breadboard you are looking for different part numbers. mouser alpha, d shaft, solder lug, b type taper http://mouser.com/ProductDetail/Alph...4EawfMyg%3d%3d basic knob caps, Eagle Knobs, BLK/RED D-SHAFT http://mouser.com/ProductDetail/Eagl...tR8Vm9iw%3d%3d those caps match the 6mm shaft on those pots. browse the mouser catalog under passive components in the potentiometer and panel mount potentiometer http://mouser.com/catalogviewer.aspx?page=691 |
