Reply to Have no ability to monitor with headphones vci100

My gear is as follows:

Compaq presario CQ40
Vestax Vci-100
Sennheiser HD280
Traktor Pro 1.2 with 2.5 tsi
PreSonus Audiobox USB

I have tried messing about with just about every control I can believe of externally and internally, and I can never get the monitor to work on the track I'm trying to monitor to mix in. I put a couple mixes up online but I don't like the way they sound because I have to look at the waveforms and turn the level up just a bit to hear the drums, which of course everyone else can hear when listening to the mix.
