Reply to vci-100 light problem

So I have a VCI-100 that I made into a VCI-100SE myself by adding the overlay and upgrading to 1.3. A few months ago i changed the lights of the 8 bottom buttons (4 on each side below the jog-wheels) using the tutorial on the site and it worked fine despite my shoddy soldering job.

So now that I'm off of school for the holidays I decided a few days ago to change all of the lights in my vci-100se. i took it apart, removed the old lights, and added the new ones just as I had done before with the 8 bottom buttons. I put it back together, and it seems that about half of the lights are not working. More specifically: Sample button light; FX On Deck B - 1 light; Loop 8, Loop / 2, Scratch Lights on the left side, both headphone preview lights, the right EQ FX button lights, Loop On button light, FX Bank light, FX Bank Loops light (the tiny red light), and the two tiny Chained and Advanced button lights are all not working while the others seem to be working fine.

I tried changing out some of the bulbs of the lights that were not working but nothing changed - still not working.

A few things that are puzzling me:
-I never touched the little red lights, yet some of them are not working
-I didn't do a great job soldering, but I didn't do anything differently than how I did the bottom lights before, yet I seem to have made a big mistake somewhere...
-Even though some of the lights weren't working, their respective buttons still performed the respective actions in Traktor Pro like they had before

• Could I have overheated some of the sockets and fried the connections from the lights to the board?

• Could I have accidentally scraped the board with the soldering iron and broken some connections without noticing?

• Are some of the lights daisy chained together like Christmas lights where if one bulb is out, the rest after that will not get power?
