Just ordered the Audio 8 did I find a good deal?
Just ordered the Audio 8 did I find a good deal? I have been using Serato for 3 years now, and since it broke I decided to make the switch. I have a feeling that if Traktor doesn't get some kind of video mixing going I may have to switch back or have some kind of hybrid Serato/Traktor thing in the "not to soon" future. I been shopping around for the perfect deal for months. Ebay, Craigslist, this community and every audio gear site I could find through google. And finally, I placed my order. I got 2 Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Pro Timecode Vinyls and 1 Native Instruments Audio 8 DJ Audio Interface (with Free Samson PH60 Headphones). I paid $367.03 I feel I got a great deal. I was able to talk the staff at zzounds.com down on each product individually by finding it cheaper on other less reputable sites and sending them the link. There's a button by the price of each product they sell that allows you to send them a message and show them were the product can be bought cheaper. I'm really impressed with the quick responses. And feel comfortable with the price I paid. I'm spending over 55-65 dollars less than I thought I would be. The free headphones are a real piece of poo, but they threw those in for no reason. So I will happily take them. I'm opening up this thread to see if anyone knows of were all the cheap deals are...... | |

Suzanna Paddock 11.01.2010 | Sounds like a good deal. I got mine b4 Christmas & never looked back. The Audio 8 is really a massive soundcard. One of my fav features is all the leds telling you which channels are pumping out sound. No one ever talks about that one, but in a live situation it really helps to know where the problem is coming from -fast. Enjoy your Audio 8! |
