Hot Cues, Load & Grid markers
Posted on: 04.03.2010 by Yevette Matatall
Havning recently got excited about the Midi fighter and cue point juggling I have been watching the tutorials.

Most of my collection is Beat mapped, so most songs have a load marker being 1 and then a grid marker being 2.

Now, If say I want to use my hot cues in the juggle mode on my VC1, Can I assign cues 3,4,5,6. It appears as though 1 and 2 are automatically assigned.

I'm planning on getting a midi fighter, Will I have to delete my load and beatmarker in order to use 1,2,3 & 4 as hot cues or do I just assign load and grid to 7 & 8.... or... Once grid is locked can I do away with grid marker.

My apologies as I am sure the answer is obvious.

Many thanks

You wont have to delete anything if i understand you correct. You can just remap your cue points to whatever slots you want by using the map button.

Press the cue point you want to remap to another position, then press map, then press the button you want to map it to.

Hope that makes sense.
