Vestax VCM 600 question
Posted on: 07.04.2010 by Francie Gindin
Hi folks,

Firstly, I did use the search function and couldn't get a definitive answer to my question.

Can I use a VCM 600 in Windows 7, 64 bit with a Centrino 2 (Core2duo 2.53) ghz processor? My NI Audio 2 soundcard and Traktor Pro are working in Windows 7 64 so I assume that isn't an issue...

Thanks,
Emmett

Ah.. okay, I only tested it on 32 bits versions.

Thanks for the replies.

My only concern is that it says (in the very hard to understand and dated looking VCM 600 page of the Vestax wesite) that it isn't 64 bit supported, yet I've read the odd smattering over the web that it does work in Windows 7 64.

I was just trying to get a confirmation of if this is actually the case :s

Cheers,
Emmett

It should be no problem, I was able to plug it in without the aid of drivers on my XP/Vista machine.

So windows should not be a problem too.
