Here's a project, a large format studio mixer

After coming up with my Ableton Live PA set up and focusing on that, I'm starting to turn my attention to producing more and am believeing about making my own large format studio mixer ala a Mackie 32x8.

Any suggestions? First thing that came to mind was a using a number of BCR/BCF2000's, but I would like to have more knobs available per channel. And I can use a number of smaller controllers for use with VST's, transport controls and so on.

Any suggestions? I saw these today and they just got me really motivated to do this now.

And this one as well

This one also got me believeing about how to set up my controllers for my live set up

As always, advice, thoughts, input and comments are always welcomed and appreciated!

And by 32x8 I mean 32 channel strips with 8 returns, so 40 channels over all

I hate doing that, for the price I would rather prefer getting 5 of each

Just talking about the 2BCR and 1BCF setup.

Basically you can switch between presets(32). So that would be 32x8 channels per controller.
