I promised some photos when my decksaver came through. I'm pleased to say it's a very snug fit. However, it certainly adds more depth to the unit than I was expecting.

damn i really like the VCI sleeve, any chance Ean/DJTT can look into a order directly from vestex? I'm sure there are several people here that would buy it if it were better available for the US crowd.

Also with the deck saver, I'm believeing you could put some velco or an elastic band to hold the cover on

So, after reviewing this thread, I don't believe there was a definitive answer regarding whether the decksaver fits the VCI-100 arcade edition. Can anyone confirm this or not? My decksaver is due to arrive this week. If not, I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Nope. Just the cool carbon fibre style material.

Here's another shot I did for them:

It fits like a glove too. I believe they're damned near essential if you take a VCI out a lot.

Looks nice...bag too. Besides the obvious color change, is there any difference from the original?

Check out my VCI-300 decksaver...

Coming soon apparently.

Just got my decksaver for the vci-300 and am very happy with it. I do wish it fit a bit more snugly on the corners. Maybe if they had put a little piece of rubber on the corners, it would have made it stay on more securely, but am glad I got it. It's perfect for throwing it in a bag now without worrying about breaking anyting. Here's some pics. They also have a funny video of them trying to break the case.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95xXC...layer_embedded

I recieved my decksaver within 5 days of making the purchase. It does not secure like a lid but does cover it and fits like a glove. As long as you put your laptop on top of it in a bag when transporting and secure the bag correctly it wont come off in transportation.

haven't found dimensions, but these are some nice pics that looks like
there is not much added width to the sleeve.

im leaning toward the decksavers too for my VCI-100. If it doesnt work out for transport, at least i've got a nice cover for when at home.

im trying to find the exact dimensions of vestax sleeve. vestax japan doesn't even list the sleeve on their website...

Laptop case does the trick. Find one with the velcro straps to hold it in place. $30 or less for a generic brand at fry's or whatever.

i'm looking for a case that will help in transporting the VCI-100, mainly protecting the pitch faders (mine have been bent during transport to a gig, but luckily i just bent it back into place without breaking).

kinda afraid the plastic decksavers cover would shift inside of a backpack and really damage the pitch faders... but i like the slim profile.

the vestax bag has awesome protection, but not sure if the added bulk would fit in my UDG producer bag...

Nope. It's like $120 and available in Europe. Germany I believe...but Karlos was able to get one shipped to him in England.
