HELP! Vestax Typhoon wont work with Macbook Pro
Posted on: 29.10.2010 by Emile Bleakley
So I had been using my Vestax Typhoon with Traktor LE on a Dell with no issues. Today I bought a Macbook Pro and decided to download Traktor Pro off the website. Well I can't get it to work. When I try to use the controller the MIDI light comes on in Traktor but it doesn't do anything. If anyone can help me that would be great. Also if you can tell me the proper way to set up the output routing that would be great.

Yes but change it to the typhoon then change both the output and input. Once I close the window it still doesn't work. I go back to the controller manager and it is back to keyboard generic.

go to the mapping section of the community and look for some mappings (might take a while) and when i get a chance ill post how to import your mapping
I clicked on the import tab and went to the vestax folder and there wasn't anything for the typhoon. Also I went under the mappings tab and there are 2 mappings but I believe they both just say prep.
