Is there anything like this on the market? Posted on: 09.12.2010 by Izetta Affonso I'm learning Ableton and wanting to use it for mixing tracks, creating my own tracks from samples and also for intergrating samples within the mix. I want total control over the parameters as I did when I used to own my efx1000 & djm800 with x2 cdj2000's. And want to know if there is a controller which will offer me all the knobs, buttons and buttons I need in one unit, or a good combination. I have attached a photoshoped image of 3 units (APC40 and 2 UC33) to show you what I'm after. Is it possible to connect all three units and map them to do different things with Ableton? I would leave the APC40 mapped how it is by default but then map the UC33 units seperately, is this possible? I'm very new to mapping, midi controllers and don't really know what is possible, any alternative setups to offer such controll would be great too. Thanks | |

Nedra Fresneda 09.12.2010 | almost, you can't resize the uc33 :P jk you just need to make a template set with the mapping done, it is posible |

Graham Frazier 09.12.2010 | You can map almost everything in ableton. And with max4live, and a little programming, you can control everything in ways that are tough to imagine. |
Kiyoko Wellisch 09.12.2010 | Broken image there dude. |
