Rockband controller with mac Posted on: 19.12.2010 by Gwenn Verity Hi allI purchased an xbox 360 drum kit today hoping to use it as a midi controller. I connected it via usb, downloaded gamepad companion and xbox 360 controllers as drivers and put it through multicontrol to try convert the signal from HID to MIDI. Basically my problem is, i cant get any power coming from the drums, which in turn is meaning that it is not being noticed by my laptop (macbook pro).I assumed that it would just be bus powered via the usb port, as there is no ac adaptor point or battery point. when i plug it into my laptop, the xbox sign lights up for about a second, then goes out, and cant seem to get it to come back on. Any ideas?? thanks x | |
