HELP! 2.1 Speakers + Sub ????
Posted on: 21.01.2011 by Margarite Melampy
Hey all! My vestax spin arrived today but I have run into some troubles

I cant get my speaker system to work with it, Basically my Sub box has an input where my speakers Red/White cables go and then the sub box has a standard cable for PC/Mac audio input.

I tried putting my Red/White cables in the Spin on their own but they were very tinny and quiet.
How to I use my (Powered) Sub box + 2 speakers to work with my vestax spin??
Thanks, Just ask if you need photos coz I dont believe I described it very well lol

I'd go with a female RCA to female 3.5mm, that way you're not limited in length too much. Most RCA and 3.5mm cables are male to male, so if you get a female to female converter, it'll act as an extension cord as well. (You don't have to, it's just a thought)

normally any electronics shop has those kind of converters. male RCA to female 3,5mm (if the sub has a male input, otherwise obv the male 3,5mm)

the red/white cables are called RCAs, the "normal" input is a 3,5mm

are the RCAs from your sub running to the two other speakers if you use it with your pc? if yes keep them that way and plug your spin into the 3,5mm (like you would if you used your speakers with a PC). you will need a RCA-3,5mm cable to do that.
