Motor + Encoder + Scratchmode = working ?
as in the title, I wondered if there is any issues if an encoder when paired with a motor and scratch mode toggled in Traktor could be used as a method of reliably playing audio ?

Basically rate the wheel turns at changes, track slows down in tracktor, seems simple ?

I'm seriously considering building a low profile Motorised controller (assuming I can get a reasonable motor) but is the scratch mode accurate enough in traktor for this to work successfully? or has anyone else done it?

You might ask why, I honestly just have always Prefered cueing on motorised vinyl compared to a play/stop button or a cdj style static wheel .. and would like to simulate it as much as possible without timecode or going the NS7 / V7 route.

Keeping it simple.

1 x Pitch Fader (controlling motor)
1 X Play / Stop (controlling motor)
2 x buttons (midi)
1 x Encoder (midi)

Thoughts appriciated.
