Dismantling a BCD3000
Hi guys

I bought myself a BCD3000 about 6 months back, and now, I believe it's accumulated enough gunk for the jogwheels and faders to not work properly. It's probably time for me to give it a nice alcohol bath and return it to spanking new condition.

Can someone please give me a walkthrough of how to dismantle the BCD3000 without breaking stuff? I am especially stuck on how to remove the side panels. They are attached to the main chassis with a hook that looks like it might break off if I try to pull off the panel.

Also, any advice on how to clean up my jogwheels and make them rotate smoother?

There's a video about this on youtube, but it's too fast to make sense of what's happening.

Would appreciate any help on this.. Especially from someone who has tried this on the same machine..

Thanks a lot guys.. Looking forward to a response

Regards
Siddhartha
