Adding Turntables to I-Mix Reload MK2
Posted on: 06.03.2011 by Alona Parini
I have an I-MIX and it has two inputs. I plugged in my turntables but I get no sound. I am not sure what to do and do I have to do something in Virtual DJ (the software I use) for it?

if it's like traktor, you need to assign the inputs to a deck (or an aux through channel if there is one) in your audio input settings.

Are you sure the audio passes through? Or does it simply allow you to use the mixer section of the controller?

How do you currently have it connected and to what?

I am assuming it does because for each input there is a switch for line or phono. I currently have it on phono.

Does your controller feature phono preamps?

No, I don't want to use it in Virtual, I just want to use by itself. I am wondering if there is a setting in VDJ I have to mess with. I can use Traktor Scrtach too but I am still not sure where the settings are.
