Lpd8 - What to do?
Lpd8 - What to do? Posted on: 15.03.2011 by Leonardo Papajohn So I have an extra Lpd8 board. Well pretty much a whole fully working lpd8, only problem is the pads i have for it wont make it trigger, but if i use a different pads it works. (I used the single pad it comes with to prove that it does work) So really, I would just need a replacement set of pads. BUT FIRST, I wanna see if any of you have any ideas on what I could do with it? Mod ideas, etc? | |

Hayden Shanafelt 20.03.2011 | i'm looking to do the same thing.. This nanokontrol mod is pretty much the same as your lpd8; You could just mount the velocity buttons still on their original pcb on the underside of a new case, desolder the original pots and wire in nicer ones, and add faders or any other analogue x/y components to the some of the pot connections if you wish. He added extra arcade buttons to a keyboard pcb which might be an option because replacing velocity sensitive pads with arcade buttons seems counterproductive, i've read comments from people saying they prefer the pads to buttons. |
Allene Manitta 16.03.2011 | yeah, go for arcade mod, unsolder the potis (keep 'em, use them in new case) and get a new fancy case might end up with something like my CLONE (Visit my Blog [-> Signature] for DIY-Tutorial) |
Patty Mcgilbra 16.03.2011 | you'd need to build a new case at least and no idea on how hard it would be to solder |
Leonardo Papajohn 15.03.2011 | how would i go about putting arcade buttons on this? |
Kristofer Krauel 15.03.2011 | Would look the shit if you got some arcade buttons and green knobs! ;-) |
