Typhoon External Speakers

My son has the Vestax Typhoon and was going to hook up a set of external speakers as he is currently using his Mac note book. He took a RCA cable to the speakers and couldnt get it to work, my guess is that he needs the external power supply to power up the Typhoon sound card ????

The typhoon is basically the spin with different coloured panels. I've never heard of anyone having problems bus powering a typhoon.

what he said. It won't automatically route the audio, you have to select the outputs yourself. The master (speaker) output is probably either channels 0&1 or 1&2, and the monitor (headphone) output will be the other 2 channels, so 2&3 or 3&4. Just depends which number they decided to start with.

Is he using Traktor?

It should go:

- Macbook plugged into the Typhoon with a USB
- Typhoon RCA's to the back of speakers. (these speakers may need to be plugged in).
- In Traktor Preferences under Audio select the Vestax Typhoon Soundcard. Then choose your master out below that.

Should be good to go
