Hercules RMX + what mixer + 12" TT?
Hercules RMX + what mixer + 12" TT? Posted on: 21.04.2011 by Mikki Brasuell I got my RMX, been using it for a while, but like everyone says you start to outgrow it a little bit. Its hard to chop peices of a song, loop em, send it to another deck for modulation, etc etc. I still like it, does the basics nicely. However im looking at picking up a technics or two turntable this summer for my 12" records, Should I get another mixer for the technics, and can i somehow hook it up to work alongside my RMX? I would like this second mixer to be compatible with traktor perhaps, (so not a full analog one), and can be later used with CDJs, or other vynil TTs, les say....600 dollar budget for the mixer | |

Mikki Brasuell 22.04.2011 | chez that denon sure is purdy. thanks for the idea. looks like the denon is something im more interested in since its a standalone mixer |
Rolanda Clodfelder 21.04.2011 | You could route the decks straight into the RMX, just use the input channels in Traktor. For that kinda money though I'd sell the RMX and get a Denon MC6000, its a decent standalone analogue 4ch mixer as well as a really nice controller and DECENT soundcard. Also you dont need to worry if your Lappie Dies halfway though mixer will work anyhow S4 might be worth a look too at that budget if you dont need the analoge mixer element. looks like it'll handle timecode too (if not now soon enough). |
