Now, consider the pricing (<1,000$)... You can't go that wrong by saying They'll sale more than "bigger" company (Denon, Pioneer, A&H). It's quite a sexy mixer with tons of feature and I have no doubt this unit will be a good Behringer hit for low budget club, mobile disco, bedroom and or beginner DJ. Assuming NI charge a scratch license on each of those mixer, and later the software, it's still appealing for them no!?! Cheap or not, no one can say right now, but I believe NI should. |

I know all these Audio companies like to jerk you around and charge you out the ass for shit (especially native instruments, which has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with) but all of the new behringer mixers have USB. All they say on their site, however, is "playback and recording." No Midi connectivity. I would really LOVE to get away from my S4 w/ 1200's and move to real mixer but the cost to do timecode is so prohibitive and the mess of wires just isn't for me. Honestly I'm really tempted to start looking at other software/hardware solutions. Not just because of the cost of all of NI's shit (I know serato isn't much better) but because of the fact that NI's customer service is far and away the worst. |

Big fingers need not apply, but yes let's hope its a better version of the DDM4K. It's a great value for the price.

Lora Vandewark 16.05.2011 | Dumb question time....... Does this thing do MIDI? I can see from the link it has a MIDI out, and a MIDI switch but can't see any reference to it in the blurb. Oh, and nice to see they put the headphone jack in a more sensible position this time! |

Some Behringer are great, some are bad. Time will tell. I'll probably buy one for one small club 'round here for testing purpose. |
