Extra Classic's Fun Game Mod

Ahhh the things you do when you're bored.

Here's a mod i did the other evening .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tt14-5IljU

My partners a childminder so we always have lots of toys and stuff in the house. I saw this electronic game on top of the toy box and couldn't resist doing a quick mod for fun.

I used the brains from a pc keyboard which was a bit of a waste considering i only needed 4 buttons but i just happened to have one ready to go.

I'm pretty amazed at how responsive the buttons are. Not quite on par with arcade buttons but very close

It took me about an hour to make and I'm having loads of fun with it.

Future plans for this mod

Connect the on/off switch.
Connect the Led's.
Wrap the whole case in wood to give it some weight.
Replace top with acrylic.

Here's a few more Images.

No comments on my timing please
