Softpots on a controller ???
Posted on: 28.05.2011 by Marva Cupid
Has anyone ever tried to use Softpots on a controller like these :

Softpots-sparkfun

I was believeing if you set them up so when you touched them you got a midi note and a midi cc for the turning, you could almost use them like the touch strips on the itch except they would be round like a jog wheel.

I might buy some soon and make another controller out of a gamepad again.

Cheers

I bought one of those a while ago... I haven't actually got round to testing it yet though!

Was intending to use it as a track position scrub pad like you get on CDJ2000's
