Arduino Step sequencer MidiOtter
Arduino Step sequencer MidiOtter Posted on: 23.06.2011 by Kathlyn Corre HelloIm studing electrical engineering and this was our end project of year one. It is a arduino mega 8x16 matrix Midi step sequencer with two potentiometers and slide fader. Basicly you controll where and when you want to send a midi message to an extarnal source with the 8 rows and 16 coloumns. In our case thru a midi-interface and to a laptop using Ableton Live. The fader is controlling the speed and the two potentiometers controll global velocity and global the length of the note. im posting a crappy first try video with som shitty sounds and a link to our "fancy pancy" prezi presentation in swedish with pics and the scheme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2stI53EjcXs http://prezi.com/pdhn4yhcytoe/midiotter/ Hopefully this is some inspiration for you guys or something something. greetings Axel | |

Chasidy Heckenbach 24.06.2011 | very nice project.... i love step sequencers so i'm writing some code for my midimasher app so i can use my launchpad to program steps while also using it to control ableton and traktor and choosing either as the target for playing the samples. |
