Reply to X1 Dead == i'm boned...

(crosspost from NI community s, sorry, i'm desperate...)

I'm freaking out... I've got a huge gig at a festival in less than two weeks, and my X1 just died...

When I plug my X1 in:
-The LEDs on the device flash briefly, then turn off.
-Windows gives an error message: "USB Device Not Recognized"
In Traktor, preferances, Device Setup: With the proper mapping selected in the device
dropdown, both the In-Port and Out-Port show "n/a: KX1"


I've tried it on my old laptop and a buddy's laptop, both w/ 1.2.7, same result. I tried my buddy's X1 on my laptop and it works perfectly.

Conclusion: my x1 is dead.

It's probably just a coincidence, but the evening before this happened, I had upgraded to 2.0.3, I just didn't have a chance to play /w it.

Has anybody come across this? Or even better, anybody been able to fix this?
