Controller similar to Vestax VCI-300?
Controller similar to Vestax VCI-300? Posted on: 22.07.2011 by Joy Rory Hey guys, I'm looking for a controller that's pretty much similar to Vestax's VCI 300. I need to be able to scratch on it, it needs to have a good crossfader and it needs to be very portable. Price doesn't really matter.Have you guys got any good suggestions? | |

The VFX-1 is the best FX controller of all the ITch ones available (the NS6, DX and V7's have them built in, the NS7 has the NSFX). However, the VFX-1 had an additional parameter to control. The effects are post fader and sound very "wet". Delay and Reverb are great. The filters you can control the resonance. Beatreapter is ok, tremolo is similar to gater but not quite there yet. I don't use flanger or phazer. I would put the effects on par with a DJ-400. For me, it's plenty. I miss some of traktors effects like (iceverb) --- but i enjoy Itch tons and the VCI is a small well built powerhouse. The jogs are AWESOME |

Julissa Serrone 23.07.2011 | I just wanted to add that I REALLY REALLY REALLY Dig my VCI-300 + Itch 2.0 |
Kiyoko Wellisch 23.07.2011 | Yeah, it's a bit of a bummer really. I hope that something comes along to rival the VCI 300, lack of choice is not cool. |

Julissa Serrone 23.07.2011 | if you want to be able to scratch worth a shit......it's going to be an itch controller. You can always use a kaoss pad for other effects. |

Dena Chinn 22.07.2011 | vci-100? |
Brock Ricapito 22.07.2011 | OP, you need to do a HELL of a lot more research into controllers. Use the search function and visit google, and you will be able to figure this out on your own without being sassed by people like me. |
