1/4" Jack in MFP
1/4" Jack in MFP Posted on: 09.07.2011 by Rosita Bourdeaux I've seen a few videos of Ean rockin his Custom Midi Fighters with a 1/4" jack. He plugs a footswitch into it to toggle record with his foot.http://youtu.be/YR-1Oe06YLw (read the comments) I just recently saw another video of him rocking a MFP and it looks like it has the same mod. http://youtu.be/ERl_-5IcHHA (Notice the 1/4" cable sticking out of it?) So how would one go about this mod if the midi fighter can only have an adittional 4 analog & 4 digital inputs? He seems to be using the cue master. Correct me if im wrong but I thought the cue master used up all it's inputs? | |

Rosita Bourdeaux 14.08.2011 | Ok so were there ever any videos or posts showing how exactly Ean did his foot controller mod? I can't find anything on it other than his footswitch/superfader explanation video. |
Graham Frazier 12.08.2011 | My bet is, he has double control on an input. The foot switch is wired to a button on the controller(this was done on his original VCI.) Or they've done some fancy multiplexing/programming with the analog inputs. |
Rosita Bourdeaux 11.08.2011 | Can anyone confirm this? |
Marva Cupid 09.07.2011 | maybe the mfps have those additional inputs that let you expand even more, so the faders and knobs and buttons are all built into the board and dont use up the expansion ports |
