Okay so I designed this with their toolkit found here:
http://www.custommidicontrollers.com/custom.html

And right now I am waiting for them to tell me the price of it.
If it is the price where I am looking for (around $600), I am going to order it. What do you guys believe?

yeah but now i need to change it a bit. all those buttons on top were the loop recorder and browsing but I just got a Kore 1 contorller for like 250$ less than retail price so imma have that mapped to that and then I need to move the 3 knobs next to browsing in between all the EQs on the mixer. So hopefull that makes my quote about 725$

heres a thread on what the kore 1 is. the kore 2 is the same thing except without an audio interface

The same can be accomplished in Ableton, although some controls are exclusive.

Mapping is not impossible by any means. Just unfortunately tedious. (ever used midi mapping in ableton live? just cmd+m then click the button or knob in Live, then move the knob or push button on your controller. Done and done.)

Now that I'm believeing of it, we should start a petition to NI to get them to put some MIDI learn right into the damn interface like Ableton has. Then we wouldn't need to fight over TSI files!

Until then - Show me yours, I'll show you mine
...they have a midi learn in the controller manager.

Very fair - I'm just getting into it - never been a DJ before, I'm new to all of this. I'm coming in as a controllerist (coming from producing) so I never used Traktor before recently (or any dj program for that matter).

Guess it's a brave new world

Looks pretty sweet. But to be honest I won't believe you'll get it for that price. I would be very interested in what the damage would be (sorry for being nosy ).
