Reply to Denon DN-S700

I have played on 1000's before and have been looking at getting 1200's for a little bit now but I recently saw a deal for a pair of 700's for 300$. My only question is will they last. I don't beat on my gear . I do play outside sometimes but never on the beach/desert where the conditions are rough on my gear. Any thoughts?
