Reply to DIY Midi....ish?

Well at the moment I use my iPhone on touchOSC using 2 big faders for the volume faders and a smaller fader for the monitor volume (headphones). I then have two toggle buttons for cue channel (headphones) decks A & B.

What I want to do, is make a physical version Of this, as a touchscreen is quite tricky to use.

So what I want to know is, how would I go about it? Any idea of the circuitry? What componants will be needed?

Ive done an advanced engineering course as part of my engineering apprentiship so I don't mind the electronic work. It's just the electronic deign I'm not good at.

I want to use Midi CC's preferably.
