Sulema Eshel 27.12.2011 | Thought I recognised the name/style of controller... these guys are making loads of mini controllers, like the nano-kontrol. See vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGeiBNT3dos They also have in this range: iCreativ - Kaoss Pad type controller (like a bigger version of the touchpad on the NanoPad2) - this one looks interesting (see vid) iKey - Keyboard (nanoKey clone) iPad (Apple just have to sue these guys, surely!) - Like the NanoPad iControls - NanoKontrol iDJ - Mini DJ controller Hyar is more info: http://www.icon-global.com/ShowPro.aspx?ID=19 - click on controller & I series Don't believe that the units quite look finished... I hope that they have sacked their graphic designers and have spent the cash on components. Still dunno how they can possibly hope to avoid Apple's (overworked) lawyers! |
Sulema Eshel 27.12.2011 | Most of the branded stuff is made in China, so I wouldn't worry about that!! Looks interesting... A half size launchpad. This thing could be mapped as 2 midifighters, and then the centre 4x4 grid for something else (e.g. FX select for decks A/B/C/D), or an 8x4 grid for cuepoints, and the end 4x4 for looping or.... As it isn't as large (I mean not as many buttons) as the launchpad, then it's easier to work out what's going on. With the 8x8 launchpad, I could never work out a mapping where I don't forget where I am. 4x8 is much more manageable. |
Patrica Giancaterino 25.12.2011 | Looks cool. Specs say they're velocity sensitive, always a plus Edit: looks like a crossfader at the bottom, and a jogweel as well. Cool but very small.. |
