Reply to Turntable Modifications

Does anyone know where I can learn some basic turntable modification techniques at? Specifically, I want to remove the center click on my stanton str8-60 pitch faders. I have basic knowledge of soldering and don't mind opening them up to get at the parts, I'm just unsure of where to start.
