Behringer djx750 - anyone owned one?
Posted on: 31.12.2011 by Arletha Heddens
I need a cheap mixer (preferably 4channels with effects and full kills) and the djx750 seems to be able to do just what I need it to do.
Now I know some of you are going to be like "Behringer- stay away" but personally, I've never had any issues with Behringer products (I own a sub and a line mixer) and haven't had any issues with them.

But it seems to be one of the best mixers for that price range.

Has anyone owned one?
Does / will it do the job?

Cheers guys

On the plus side it sort of looks like a DJM800 if you squint a bit.
This! But looks like a DJM600 not a DJM800.

Trust us. Don't buy one, you will regret it.

firstly you should make sure that you actually NEED 4 channels and fx. since you seem to be a beginner, decks 3 and 4 will be no use to you, while the fx will mostly mess up your mix.
so be wise and dont spend your hard earned cash on the shittiest mixer out there. either be patient and gather some more cash and get yourself a half-decent mixer, or get a 2 channel mixer that is worth its money.

I have seen those things fall apart in less than 2 months, its like throwing money to the garbage.

Save more for the Pioneer djm 250 or some vextax or ecler used.

The DDM4000 is good for the money I've had more problems with the ndx400 then the ddm4000

Behringer makes some excellent doorstops with knobs on them. shame they try to pass them off as mixers.

The DDM4k is on sale for $400 at storedj.com.au if you could scrounge up the extra cash.

When you figure out it's that bad and go to sell it, you'll find that you won't be able to give it away.

Save the 200 bucks. Put it down on something else.

I saw someone selling a DDM4k for between 20-300 bucks. Look there. Edit: You already did look there!

Hmmm.. I believe for a first mixer, and for $200 i can't go too wrong... If its really that bad, ill just sell it.

+1 for the DDM4K. You get a LOT of mixer for your money.

You'd probably be better off gettin the DDM4000 its a bit dearer but well worth it.

+1 on what Nicadraus says.. I owned one for 3 years and hated every minute of it..

The effects are shocking, the EQ knobs feel like they are going to snap and go from one extreme to another. The only half decent thing is the faders and even they suck.
