[Newbie] Gear question
[Newbie] Gear question Posted on: 01.02.2012 by Ghislaine Derick Hello all,Although I've been following DJTT community s for a couple of weeks now, this is my first post. I want to learn DJing. I try to dig into the community s as hard as I can and I've been watching tutorial videos for a while now. But these are all useless without practice, so I decided to buy a controller to have the sense of it. As you can imagine I will be a bedroom dj for starters and do this as a hobby. I narrowed down my list to Numark Mixtrack Pro and Kontrol S2, obviously my budget is around 400-500 | |

Ghislaine Derick 02.02.2012 | Thanks a lot. S2 it is then. I have a 5+1 gaming speaker system and I'm searching for decent headphones at the moment. They should be enough I believe. Thanks again! |
Rick Bossett 02.02.2012 | def agree about the s2. no speakers or headphones tho? could easily buy a cheap set of headphones and speakers (logitech type ones??) with all the money u're gonna save buying the s2 on special |

Jeramy Akinola 01.02.2012 | The S2 at the low price of 399? S2 hands down, get it while you can dude before the price goes to the roof again. |
Charline Dye 01.02.2012 | To start out the S2 would be perfect. You could use earbuds if you have them to get by till you can afford headphones, or get a cheap pair of headphones till you can afford better ones. You can also just use the headphones without speakers to learn alot. You just won't be able to cue a track while another is playing. If you have computer speakers or a home stereo, you can use those. |
Tatum Ansaldo 01.02.2012 | I'd go for the S2 without question. If you don't have speakers and headphones it'll be pretty useless though. |
