i have a LE version of vdj that came with a controller - it's pretty sucky compared to traktor imho, but i know some people like it. having said that it's not bad and i had some fun using it.

edit: i probably have had more fun using the free mixxx tho than vdj and the custom mapping possibilities are almost endless with mixxx.

edit2: just tried the new beta of mixxx 1.10 - looks pretty slick - quite traktorish

Check out the mappings given at http://www.abtevrythng.com/2012/01/m...pings-for.html

These are for midi fighter classic mappings ported onto nanoPAD2. And guess what Instant Gratification and Decadized mappings are in process. Do you wanna beta test the upcoming mappings? Check out above page to know more...

I made a midi fighter style controller using an old buzz controller. I recommend using a program called ControllerMate to convert your HID data to keystrokes. This program allows you to send out extra notes when a combination of buttons are held, much like the midi fighter does.

I'm doing it with the nanopad 1.

If you want some advice, drop me a pm or so.

Best.

Nothing is impossible, you could do it... Do I recommend it? NO! Just buy a midifighter!

in the time spent modding you could probably easily earn the money to get an actual MIDIfighter
