Opinions on VESTAX VMC-004XLu mixer?

| Wei Lebeaux 19.02.2012 | It's a good mixer. Crossfader isn't worth shit though. The curve sucks for scratching and you will wear it out quick. Honestly crappy as can be. I have a brand new crossfader, and 20 days later it sucks. It's embarassing. But the level meters per channel are great, and the eq is nice as well. Mine is getting an Innofader and i'll be thrilled. Only other complaint is lack of XLR master outputs (I have the PMC-004, and the XLu is supposed to fix this problem) and no XLR mic input. It's easy enough to work around though. The mixer does have a nice sweet sound to it though. |

| Inez Marcinik 19.02.2012 | I've not used the ddm4000 but it seems to get good reviews. For the money I believe the feature set is hard to beat (The placement of the headphone out is ridiculous though). Personally I dont like pioneer mixers so I wouldn't recommend them ever. |

| Inez Marcinik 19.02.2012 | I recently purchased the vmc-002xlu (the 2 channel version) and I believe its great. The build quality is great and the eq's sound nice. The faders are pretty smooth, I'm not very experienced scratching so I couldn't give a good evaluation of the crossfader but it feels alright to me. Great entry level mixer i'd say. |
