Traktor Crashes whenever I load an .m4a file

So I got the update to traktor 2.1.2 and now the program crashes whenever I try and play my .m4a files. I don't know why but I've already searched through these community s and the native instruments community s and the only answer I could find was install Quicktime, which didnt really help... Im about to send a ticket to NI about the issue but I thought maybe you guys know something that can help too. It really sucks though, since I get most of my tunes from Itunes and a great deal of them are in .m4a format.
