X1600 filters

X1600 filters

Anyone with an X1600 here who has used Xones before?

How does the filters on X1600 sound compared to the VCF filters on a Xone?

I wish I could do a comparison myself but honestly everyone looks at denon like its toilet paper where I live and no one is brave enough to stock one!

But to be honest my favorite sounding digital filter is on the Ecler Evo 5. But unfortunately the firmware on that mixer is designed poorly so it's not that useful for actually mixing with.

Yeah its the same on a 1600, the parameter knob is a crossover for the FX when off and a filter when on

The filter implementation on the 1600 is essentially my single gripe, if they put a hi/lo filter on each channel like on the S4 and VCI-400 the mixer would be perfect. What I'd like to do is map the 4 midi encoders to Traktors filters...

Dang.

I am looking to upgrade my Xone 22 to a X1600 because for $100 USD more than a 42 I get way more features.

Now I will really have to believe about this. I just love the Xone filters way too much

I have a 1600 and the filters are ok there not a patch on the Xone series ones though.

However you get a hell of a lot more useful stuff than just a filter on the 1600.
