New gear, i need help
New gear, i need help Posted on: 24.03.2012 by Somer Vanstraten Hi guys, i recently bought a s2, to substitute my "old" vci arcadei was using a launchpad with my vci to control deck c and sample deck d, and for having 2 gratification mappings for deck a&b I recently "discover" that at the moment i'm not really using the grat mapping, but the simple fx section in the s2. So, here in italy, x1,launchpad,and apc20, second hand are like at the same price, 120-110 Euro. I was believeing if it'll be a good move to sell the launchpad for x1 or apc, fact is that doing so i'll have more control over samples deck c&d, but i'll loose grat mapping. Only thing that is stopping me is that pro 2.5 is going to be release soon, and maybe, for controlling the new remix deck the launchpad will the best (no volume control anyway, or eq's). I need some advice and consideration for clearing my mind. | |

Yong Aptekar 24.03.2012 | I have a launchpad, and love it. I have an X1 as well, and love it more. If you have buttons on the launchpad you aren't using, go for the X1. If you don't like the squishy buttons on the launchpad, go for the X1. If you want to be able to browse and load tracks easy, X1. Mind you, I can't speak for the APC40, never used one. |
