Custom building an MPD26
Custom building an MPD26 Posted on: 28.03.2012 by Lahoma Flatebo Hello Controller scientists,I've been dancing with the idea of replacing my MPD's pads with arcade buttons. However, would that get rid of the touch sensitivity? I've convinced my self that it wouldn't affect that, but I guess I'm looking for reassurance. Also, has anyone undertaken a project like this? This will be my first controller mod so any help or pointers would be appreciated. | |

Lahoma Flatebo 28.03.2012 | well then this project stops lol. i guess i figured it would work like velocity sensitive keyboards. Brain fart. |
Tatum Ansaldo 28.03.2012 | Yes, if you replace the velocity sensitive pads with arcade buttons, you'll lose velocity control. Think about it, buttons are momentary on/off switches. How can they detect velocity? |
Jonathan Chiuchiolo 28.03.2012 | you will lose the touch sensitivity if you do. |
