Midi controllers and Ableton
Midi controllers and Ableton Posted on: 30.03.2012 by Jona Slon Hi guys so at the moment i have an APC40 but it's not cutting it for me.I dont use 8 tracks so it feels like a bit of a waste of space for me. I want one or two smaller controllers that i can custom map to suit my Ableton production and performance workflow. Some info to help: I usually have like 4 (sometimes a 5th) track in my setup with each having a rack of macro controls for effects. i would need pads or buttons to launch clips from the 4/5 track system and i would preferably like faders (although not essential as i could map a knob in the macro section to control them. Any help is welcome | |

Brock Ricapito 01.04.2012 | Xone K2 has has 4 faders for 4 potential channels and has a bunch of layers to cover a bunch of clips with the buttons, and to get the most out of the knobs. http://www.allen-heath.com/Assets/Im..._Front_web.jpg otherwise, take a look at the Novation Zero controllers: http://c1488.r88.cf3.rackcdn.com/187...2_Overview.jpg and http://cachepe.zzounds.com/media/qua...54366d1a10.jpg |
