Today pioneer released their HDJ-1500 DJ headphones to fit between their HDJ-500 and HDJ-2000 DJ headphone lineup. MSRP on Pioneer's site is $209 with a likely lower street price.

The headphones feature better isolation technology with a "sound isolation chamber" and come in black (pictured) and silver. Press release. Product page.

The design looks really awesome, sleek and minimal, especially in black. My TMA-1's just came in though and I haven't opened the box! Oh man, what to do! Pioneer is collapsible and has swivel hinges! Advice? I'll probably stick with the TMA-1 since they're already here.

Of course as soon as a buy my gen 1 XD-53's, A&H and Pioneer and Sony all release a new iteration of their headphones. Not that I love my XD-53's any less, they server me quite well.
