Very simple Crane Stand Pro mod
Very simple Crane Stand Pro mod Posted on: 22.05.2012 by Birdie Vogeli Didn't take a genius to figure this one out, but I thought I'd post it since it really makes the Crane Stand so much better.I just got the stand today (thanks DJTT!) and while I love it, I don't like the noise of MacBook aluminum scraping as the laptop is placed on the stand. I also fear it may scratch the laptop if it's slid into place. For some reason, the front lip and the back support of the stand is covered in rubber, but the tray surface isn't. Solution was easy: I fixed 4 adhesive plastic furniture feet to the stand. Since they're transparent, they look like a part of the original stand. No more scraping noises and no risk of damaging the beautiful laptop! bild.jpg I guess my question is really this: can you believe of any reason why this feature doesn't come as standard? | |
