| Vernon Positano 17.06.2012 | the real issue is the cable length. RCA is unbalanced, which means it can pick up external noise, and this is more likely the longer it travels. However, given that most RCA cables are used to connect devices like turntables, cdj's or sound cards to mixers, they shouldn't have far to travel at all. Most decent mixers then have balanced XLR outputs that might run to a stack of amps further away, or to powered speakers. |

| Brunilda Kora 16.06.2012 | There's a lot of debate. You can buy cables CALLED hi-Q, but the actual performance increase is negligible. They usually LOOK much higher quality, and have nicer connectors, though... Re: longer cables - that probably depends on what you mean by long. 3m is longer than 1m, but won't make a whole lot of difference. But 30M is much longer, and, well, MAY make a difference.
