Novation Twitch as FX unit.
Novation Twitch as FX unit. Posted on: 05.07.2012 by Norma Vanna Hey guys. I plan to buy a twodeck controller and remap it and use it like an FX unit. I play timecoded on cdj's and i have a LPD8 as FX thingy but i feel its a bit small and i stumbled over the Novation Twitch wich brought me the idea of a controller as a dedicated FX unit. Is there anyone who is familiar with the thought or use the Twitch (or any other controller) as a dedicated FX unit. I mean, completly remapped, i dont want to use it for mixing, just que juggling, inst. grat. FX, FX knobs, fader fx. I use Traktor pro 2.5 on a macbook pro. | |

Yong Aptekar 05.07.2012 | I was using a BCD 3000 as an FX unit until I got an X1. Pair that up with a F1 and you should be mint! |
Norma Vanna 05.07.2012 | do you consider any other controller like the s2 or a vci to be more appropriate controller? |
Maile Dekerlegand 05.07.2012 | Suggest you start with the viper map, maybe the older one (new one has more transport stuff for deck C/D, would require more remapping) and remap the EQs, then anything else you don't deem necessary. |
Jonathan Chiuchiolo 05.07.2012 | You can do that no problem, there are no rules to mapping controllers. |
