AKAI MPD Update ?
Posted on: 04.09.2012 by Louetta Kotarski
I'm looking to purchase and Akai MPD32 but a friend mentioned that Akai may be putting out a new series this month.

Can anyone confirm if they're any truth to this ? Would hate to buy it and a week later they come out with a new model

Cheers!

+1

Machine is worth the money more than MPC is.

I have an MPD24, the pads are really poor after you have used them for about a year, If you get an MPD get phat pads and corx to go with them

Thanks guys -

Yeah I've been wrestling with the MPD32 vs Machine but at the end of the day I'm planning to use it primarily for Ableton - although given all the feedback about the machine workflow I could cross over or even use it as a vst but I kind of like having the fader's that the MPD offers.

MPC seems a little pricey that's for sure!
