Reply to potentiometer slider with 5 connections instead of 3

(title shoud be "potentiometer slider with 6 connections instead of 3")

Hey guys, i wanted to make a controller by using a gamepad like in this vid. , i want to add 2 of these http://www.conrad.nl/ce/nl/product/4...archDetail=005 slider pots at the place of the analog sticks, but they have 6 connectionpins instead of 3, is it still possible to connect them. and if so how?
