Reply to Purely cosmetic!

I want to add some character to my VCI! I believe pinstriping along each side, a little on each jog wheel, and a big flourish in the space where the upfaders ride would be sick as hell.

My graphic designer friend knows a guy that has a vinyl plotter, and he says that vinyl pin striping would be better suited for my purpose, than to find someone to paint them on with enamel.
I was under the impression that paint would age more gracefully than a peeling sticker on a road worn controller, and I don't want to effect the capacitive touch sensitivity of my job wheels.

Do any of you guys have any experience with relatively fine cut vinyl decals, or have you painted on your controllers?
