Traktor Pro 2 + Live Saxophone
Traktor Pro 2 + Live Saxophone Posted on: 07.03.2013 by Trula Willadsen For a party I've been asked to set up a DJ act with live saxophonist. I will do the dj'ing, but have never played with a live saxophonist. Sadly, I really can't find any info on whether or not this is easy to achieve with Traktor.I have found THIS for basic information. It talks about how easy it is with DJM mixers, however I will be using a Pioneer DDJ-T1. The general idea is that the sax tells me what songs he normally likes to play so music itself shouldn't be the problem. I'm just there to mix the songs through basically, I won't do much regarding fx for example. What do I need to look for? Can he simply play over the mic input or should I route his music differently? Can anyone get me started a bit? Thanks a lot | |

Do figure out how it sounds in the crowd because with the sax near you you might get a wrong impression on the volume of your music compared to the volume of the sax. Good luck! |
